We believe in the strength and necessity of a successful marketing program, and apply it to our respective facilities based on several factors, using demographics and targeting specific markets. While those markets may be different, the underlying truth is that if we do not market our product, namely self-storage, we will not be successful. Using techniques that include cold-calling, networking at business functions, word-of-mouth promotions which include referral rewards, advertising and other efforts, we make sure that marketing is always on the tips of our tongues and at the forefront of our leasing efforts. We train our managers to use appropriate selling techniques both in person and on the phone, and we use “shopping” techniques to follow their progress. We customize marketing programs to fit the needs of the property, and have started to use the Internet to establish and maintain Web pages to advertise and sell our product. From brochures and flyers to business cards, yellow page design and signage, we put our best foot forward to market your property to all potential customers.
